Jing Zou (b. 1984) is a Chinese filmmaker based in Shanghai and Los Angeles. Her award-winning short film DUO LI (Lili Alone) garnered international recognition, winning the Leitz Cine Discovery Prize for Best Short Film at Critics’ Week of Cannes Film Festival 2021 and Best Fiction Short Film at the Melbourne International Film Festival. Her debut feature, A GIRL UNKNOWN, premiered at Critics’ Week in 2026, where it received the Gan Foundation Award, and went on to win the FIPRESCI Prize (Parallel Sections) at the Cannes Film Festival.
